About me

Mr. Fried, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, obtained his Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 1979 and practiced in community mental health for 11 years, serving as Director of Acute Care Services and the Children and Youth Program at Holston Mental Health Center in upper East Tennessee for eight of those years. He has practiced with BMI since its founding in 1990. He was a founding member of the Tennessee Society for Clinical Social Work and served one term as Treasurer. He has studied and practiced in the specialized area of Anxiety Disorders since 1990 and in recent years he has narrowed his practice to the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
